OK, I should read the internet now that I'm at least as caught up in that game as everyone else, so I won't accidentally see spoilers and stuff, but... I decided I didn't like it. The guys aren't very cool, the girls aren't very pretty... really the game LOOKS good (except the characters) but the plot is kinda boring and slightly retarded, but I can't mention the retarded stuff in case someone else hasn't gotten to that point yet. But... it's retarded. Even the villains are kinda weak. There's all this stuff about how evil Vayne is and stuff, but really he doesn't hardly DO anything. And don't respond goin like "OH but he did that thing! and that thing!" yeah but he didn't show up to hassle the heroes, so it really isn't that interesting. Really... the whole thing... not that interesting.
What's interesting, then? Pokemon Diamond & Pearl. I meant to post when I first got 'em, but LJ wouldn't let me log in the normal way and it wouldn't display my "update" page at all o_O I don't know what that was about, but there you go.
This mood icon? That's a new pokemon called Pachilis. IT IS VERY CUTE. I updated a few other things on my mood theme with the new pokemons, take a look if you're interested.
The coolest thing about Pearl & Diamond is something called Global Trade Station. I don't know if they'll keep that in for the NA release or not, but it is absolutely the coolest thing EVAR. You can either search for pokemons or deposit one. If you deposit one, you say what pokemon, level, and gender you're looking for. Then, you leave! When you come back later, someone random might have traded pokemon with you! Or, if you do a search, you can see what other people have up for trade, and if you have what they want, you can get random pokemon from people you've never met! The only suck about this is that little kids and/or morons put in like a level 5 Bipper (it's like zigzagoon in common-ness) and they want to trade that for Dialga ¬¬
But, it's a great way to fill up your pokedex with the version exclusives of the other version.
I finished all the plot of Diamond but I haven't finished Pearl yet, then I got FF12 and couldn't stop playing until I realized I just didn't care enough to go get that one last item that would let me get the ubersword. And it made me wanna play FFX again, so... I am. Yeah the graphics aren't half as good (it makes me laugh every time there's a cut scene in which Tidus suddenly looks Japanese) but I actually LIKE all those characters, and the plot is way more interesting. I may go finish the final battle in 12 just to see it, but... I may not.
In other news, really hot toast will burn right through a styrofoam plate.
It smells really bad.
