"Dammit, he's just gonna float there saying 'Do what now?' unless he gets his brain back."|
I guess I really need to acquire the ATHF and SGC2C DVDs, especially since I lost all my divx files in that one HD crash in March.
Know what was funny? Whenever Al was like "Sensei said I shouldn't!" and that one guy was all "Dude, you can't just run around doing what sensei said, you have to make up your own mind!" and Al was like "Hmm, I guess you're right... I should decide for myself!" and then he smacks the guy on the head! Man that was funny and cute :) I wonder how they manage to capture him (ep title 33 = "captured al"), unless they go all "If you don't, we'll do mean things to Ed!" Or maybe they're mad 1337.
It's been like, forever since I've been able to watch Adult Swim, because I work or I lose the cable remote or Holly's still up or something. So, since I have no AS to discuss...
OK, why was that one henchman carting Greed's other henchmen around in a wheelbarrow through the misty forest? Maybe they requested motorcycles but Greed (being greedy) wouldn't cough up the dough. Or maybe they're trying to be sneaky. Still,... it's weird to cart guys through the forest in a wheelbarrow. Actually it was less a wheelbarrow and more a horse-drawn cart, but I already used the word cart as the verb, it would have sounded stupid to also use it as a noun in the same sentence. I bet that guy's name is Hoss.
Here's a quick list of useless words I've learned from Hagaren:
renkinjutsushi (alchemist; renkinjutsu = alchemy)
jintai rensei (human transmutation)
tohkakohka (equivalent trade)
daikohsha (agent or representative)
kenja no ishi (philosopher's stone)
already knew honoh and hagane (from pokemon), so those words aren't quite useless. (In pokemon, honoh has a huge advantage over hagane, incidentally...)
In the even more useless category, I now recognize the word "McDonalds" in katakana. Listen, I don't eat McDonalds in America, and I ain't gonna eat McDonalds if I visit Japan. But at least I'll know how to spell it. I recognize renkinjutsushi in kanji, but that's semi-useful for reading people's LJ names ;)
On the official site, there is some kind of programming change tomorrow. I can't tell if Hagaren is being completely preempted, or if it's just moving timeslot. The fact that the episode guide hasn't been updated with ep 33 yet kindof scares me, (yes, it's an addiction, and I need my weekly fix!) but I don't recall what time it has been updated in the past. I'm pretty sure it's updated prior to me coming in to work on Fridays, though. I might go all crazy-like. What time is it there? Like... er... 2am or so?
Anyway, I'm gonna go smoke and think up dirty fanfic. Aren't you glad you read this post?
