| Duck Dodgers - the new series on Cartoon Network

When they first announced it, I was excited, but my excitement was tempered by reality. I had expected great things of Justice League, and it turned out to be mediocre (at first -- it's gotten better). But Duck Dodgers has proven to be everything we wanted from a series.|
First, I'd like to mention that today's episodes have made me rather sure of my art school decision. Where else would the knowledge that Clara Peller was the Where's the Beef lady be useful? They actually mention that on Duck Dodgers. Also, they did a satire of the battle in the nebula thing from The Wrath of Khan. (Side Note: The "Wish upon a Weinstein" ep of Family Guy also featured a scene from Wrath of Khan. Must be a sign.)
Duck Dodgers is obnoxious, self-absorbed, relatively inept, and slightly insane. Which is how I like my ducks. Porky Pig as The Cadet is resourceful and amusing. And, of course, Marvin the Martian. And a small treat for me, Michael Dorn is playing some minor roles in the series.
I've only missed one epsiode so far, and it was the one where the Martian queen has a crush on Duck Dodgers. I hope I get a rerun at some point.
